Second, locate the "Contact Point" on your bike. That point is where the Click-Stand will touch your bike.

Catching one of the seat stays is the perfect option for bikepackers with frame bags, carbon bikes with wide top tubes, step-through bikes, or bikes with extremely sloping top tubes.

Click-Stand
The standard black Mini and Max Click-Stands are also available in several colors. Colors add $4 to your bill. Either you can't resist, or you remember that black is beautiful.
The Max Click-Stand
Tandems traditionally use the underside of the top tube, just behind the Captain's seat tube. But there's nothing magic about that location.

Fourth, colors (or colours):
I can do that. Select "multicolor" in the color choice, then in the "Special Instructions" box let me know the colors and order of the tubes, and which is at the top. If blue is one of your colors, remember to let me know which one.
Max - Steely Blue
This is the traditional location. It works for many different types of bicycles. The cradle doesn't have to be directly next to the seat tube.

The Mini comes as a Mini-4, Mini-5, or Mini-6. The Max comes as a Max-4, Max-5, or Max-6. the only difference is how small they are when folded, well that and money. It is all about where you will carry it. A Mini-6 will fit in your jersey pocket. A Max-5 will fit in a handlebar bag. To help you decide I made two charts. Using the measured "Contact Height" of your bike you can see approximately how short your Mini or Max will fold. Of course you will have to measure your bike first.
Finally, go forth and measure your bike. For help see the page:
Words of Wisdom:
Third, decide if your Click-Stand should be made with 4,5,or 6 segments. Its all about where you will carry it, and how small it folds.
The Mini Click-Stand
When creativity is called on, seat rails, odd frame members, rear suspension linkage, light brackets, the front edge of a rack, a Stoker's handlebar stem have all become Contact Points.
If it is available, the best location for a Click-Stand on a recumbent is back at the seat support.
These all fit the same bike.
More segments just fold smaller.
